Westworld is a drama/sifi/western movie about augmented reality. From this teaser trailer the audience doesn't find out very much. We are able to see a female who is shown in multiple shots suggesting that she is one of the protagonist. We can tell that there is something different about her from the short footage we are shown. This music is quiet eerie and has a slightly sinister tone to it. The voiceover work well with the shots and leaves the audience in suspense.
War For The Planet of the Apes is a fantasy/science fiction film. The trailer starts pitch back and then as the snow comes we are able to make out an ape. The ape is silent and just staring us which makes the scene seem really intense. The voiceover is really dark and the words are spoken really slow making the audience feel uneasy. The fade away effect makes the trailer more interesting. The text appears in the middle in white so it can be easily seen against the black. Like the other teaser trailers the audience is not given much information about what happens in the movie.
Smurfs The Lost Village is an family/animation/fantasy/adventure movie. We can immediately tell that by the characters action that it is a comedy movie and we know that Smurfs is a family movie. We are hardly given any information at all bout "the lost village'.
The text that pops up on the screen is very bold and makes the audience wonder what they are going to see in the actual film. The music is contrapuntal as we are seeing a kids characters and hearing rap music.
