My Documentary Idea

The type of documentary I will be making is performance/reflexive.

Style is a documentary that shows style and the meaning it has to them through their eyes. Although the film predominantly features females the short includes people of different ages and ethnicity's. The interviews consist of asking people what is the meaning of style is to them. When they think of their style what influences it and how do they like to present themselves using clothes, shoes and accessories. The film also features different prices of clothing, accessories, digital fashion film and photography. It does this to show fashion can be expressed and mirrored in multiple ways. The film features and interview with a designer and multiple shots of a show room as well as featuring a transgender model who talks about how her style change as she transitions and how being a model has effected her style. A student is also interviewed who talks about how social media and celebrity's have strongly influenced her style and fashion choices. The film, that is set in London also features shots of high street stores, high end stores, designer and luxury stores as well and online stores and items from exhibitions and displays.
